Le dichiarazioni di Coach Djordjevic alla vigilia della partita: “Iniziamo il nostro cammino nella TOP 16 affrontando una partita molto importante, contro una squadra che ha certezze e gerarchie ben chiare, a partire da Blazic e con Muric e Dimec, campioni d’Europa in carica con la Slovenia. Presentano un reparto americani molto forte, con un ottimo direttore d’orchestra come Perry. La fusione di un anno fa ha aumentato le ambizioni della Proprietà. In passato hanno fatto parte varie volte dell’EuroLega e sulla scia di queste ambizioni vogliono ritornarci, attraverso l’ABA Liga o attraverso la conquista dell’ EuroCup. Dovremo essere molto preparati a contrastare con le nostre armi difensive la loro qualità, fermando il loro gioco in transizione e i punti in velocità. Hanno tanti buoni tiratori come Brown e Blazic, quest’ultimo sta viaggiando con numeri molto alti e sta facendo una stagione molto buona, con una maturità esemplare. Per affrontare questa tosta battaglia dovremo mettere in campo tutte le nostre forze ed attenzioni.”
