Fortitudo Pallacanestro è lieta di comunicare di aver raggiunto un accordo con l’atleta Kassius Robertson, terzo nuovo innesto (dopo Stipcevic e Daniel) della squadra che affronterà, da matricola, il prossimo campionato di serie A. Nato a Toronto il 20 aprile 1994, guardia di 191 cm, Robertson ha iniziato la sua carriera alla Thornlea Secondary School, per poi difendere i colori del Canisius Golden Griffins, nella Metro Athletic Conference. Successivamente (stagione 2017/18), ecco il passaggio a Missouri, con 33 gare giocate nella prima stagione da senior in NCAA, collezionando una media di 16,3 punti, 3 rimbalzi e 2,3 assist. Nell’ultima stagione, Robertson si è trasferito in Germania (al Bayreuth), club col quale ha mantenuto una media di 12,3 punti segnati nelle 34 partite giocate nel massimo campionato tedesco e 11,2 punti di media ( con il 48,3% da tre punti) nella competizione della FIBA Champions League. In questi giorni, Robertson è stato impegnato alla Summer League di Las Vegas con la maglia degli Charlotte Hornets.
Kassius Robertson è giocatore dotato di grande estro e atletismo, caratteristiche molto importanti per la Fortitudo che si sta plasmando in vista della partenza della nuova stagione.
